One Spawn Gamepad Adapter is needed for each user who simultaneously plays a game remotely through the Spawn HD-720. The Spawn HD-720 comes with one built-in Gamepad Adapter that is compatible with either the PS3 or Xbox 360, so to support one remote player on one console, you don’t need to buy any Gamepad Adapters. You can just use the one built into the Spawn HD-720. If you want to support two simultaneous remote players for one console, or if you want to attach two consoles to the HD-720, you will need to buy one Spawn Gamepad Adapter. To support three simultaneous remote players, buy two Gamepad Adapters. Important Note – The Xbox 360 security architecture, unlike the PS3, requires that an Xbox 360 gamepad be connected to the console locally in order to “validate” the gamepad for use. What this means is that you will need to leave an Xbox 360 gamepad with a USB connector plugged into each Spawn Gamepad Adapter at home in order to enable remote play through that Adapter. So if you want to support one remote player, you will also need to have one Xbox 360 gamepad plugged into one Gamepad Adapter. To support two simultaneous remote players, you will need to have two Xbox 360 gamepads plugged into two Gamepad Adapters. |

| This product is an infrared to Bluetooth adapter for the PS3. If you plug this adapter into a USB port on any device in your home entertainment center (for power), you will be able to turn your PS3 on and off from the Power button in the Spawn Player while on the road. (No additional adapter is needed for the Xbox 360 as it uses infrared for remote control.) Also, note that while the Spawn HD-720 only uses this adapter for remote on/off, the product can also be used to integrate with universal remotes, so you can remote control a wide variety of PS3 functions.” |

| There are several ways you can connect your game console video and audio outputs to the Spawn HD-720 and to your TV. One of the most common is to take component video and composite audio RCA jacks from the outputs of your console, and plug them into associated inputs on the Spawn HD-720. And then to take corresponding audio/video outputs – in a pass-through mode – from the Spawn HD-720 into your TV. This lets you easily play either at home on your TV or remotely around the house or on the road without having to plug/unplug any cables. If this is your preferred configuration, you may need an extra set of component video and composite audio cables to run from the Spawn HD-720 to your TV. |

| As mentioned in the Spawn Gamepad Adapter paragraph on this page, Microsoft’s security architecture requires that a local controller be plugged in to validate and allow game play. For each Spawn Gamepad Adapter and thus for each simultaneous remote player you want to support, you will need an Xbox 360 USB wired gamepad plugged into the adapter. If you need extra/spare gamepads for this purpose, you may consider buying those together with the rest of your purchases. |
